65: time to hit the road

Hampstead Heath is a huge open space; kinda reminiscent of The Presidio. Spent the AM walking.

Farther afield today, took a bus to Kensington to see a hotel Adrienne once stayed at & liked: the Ember Locke:

These are mews: former stables, now apartments. Seen in many neighborhoods:

…and finally, a walk through Kensington Gardens. That’s the Albert Memorial and Royal Albert Hall:

Total walking distance: 7.4mi. Whew!
