65: time to hit the road

Discovered a nice cafe in the neighborhood:

Evening, met Adrienne for a ferry down the East River, from e 90th to Wall Street. We’ve now seen the lower half of Manhattan from all sides:

Walked from there to Le Dive (nice, French bar in the lower east side. The best drink: the bicyclette:

Walked back to Brooklyn over the Brooklyn Bridge:

BTW this was the first day of a crippling heat wave, which brought temps over 100 with equivalent humidity. Blea
